The pictures on the side, the pussy willows, are from tree that had fallen and it still has enough inside for one last spring showing. I had to take pictures of it's strength.

The rain stopped today, I went out and took a couple pictures. I should have taken a walk, but am feeling so tired today. Maybe it was my deaf cat screaming at the top of his lungs at 2am, just to let us know his food dish was empty, then at 4am to let us know the fire had burned out, then at 5 to remind us his food is empty, and again at 5:45. I love that cat but he has no idea how alarming his meow is at 2am. Haha!

he can't breath, he is falling apart
she was the mortar that held him together
she is not here to hold him together
he told me he should have just gone with her when he found her there, he should have found a way
I told him it will happen soon enough

he told me he regrets so much
I told him she does not
I tried to convince him to stay here, I am not sure I did
my heart was not in it
if I were in his shoes I would want to follow him
I would not want to be here without my mortar
I would be just a pile of bricks
heavy, chipped, and broken
I told him to stay, even when I would not
he asked for black, and I offered him white

I would walk with their tiny hand in mine, crossing streets cautiously together, excitedly choosing candy to bring home. Then I would carry their tiny body home on my back, they would be too tired to walk all the way home. I did this with such joy. I was in high school, sister was in elementary school by then, but brother was still a toddler. I did not go out with friends, or attend school dances, I played with them. I would
