Today I must play a little bit, get ready for a walk and on my way out grab a few long sticks of sidewalk chalk and decorate my local sidewalks. Hopefully bring a smile to strangers faces, and one across my own.
Dance a little bit, draw the curtains to a close and wiggle my stiff sleepy body while removing kittens hair from velvet furniture and matching striped socks into pairs.
Today I must breathe a little deeper, I mean really breathe, I tend to take short shallow breaths, holding my breath in between. When I breathe in deeply, my back usually responds with a snap or crack. Breathe deeply.............
I have been pacing around my house not starting anything. I need to do so much, but I have yet to wake up fully. It is almost 3 in the afternoon. I am really tired. Husband and I went to our favorite park and stomped through the woods. It was very fun and very cold. I slept so heavy last night, and wished I still was. I should take a nap, but the clothes in the dryer will be done soon, and I don't want them to wrinkle. sigh...then maybe I will take a nap.
I just heard the funniest story on the news. Some guy was robbing a store, and asked that they open the safe. They then told him that they do not have the combination and the manager was not there. So he left his phone number for them to call him when the manager arrived, that's right, so He could rob them again. So the Police called the number and he came to get the contents of the safe waving his gun around so the police shot him in the knee. I just don't understand how he thought this was going to work! Haha!
Also while I was grabbing stacks of newspaper I could not help but think the recycle center smelled like a frat house on a monday morning. Like stale beer and puke. Haha!
I went for a really nice bike ride yesterday on my new bike Clementine. She and I are bonding well, she is a sweet ride! She is an Electra Deluxe Cruiser in Red and White. I will photograph her when I find a good place. Anyway, I was out for a couple of hours. It felt really good, and I almost did not go. I bribed myself, If you go out you can get a cupcake at the cupcake bakery. I did, I got white cake with raspberry filling and a raspberry butter cream. YUM!
So That said here are a few things I found around town.
Kind of creepy huh? It is an abandoned Church! I am going back there to ask the person that lives in the back yard about this Church. I have lived in this town my whole life, and have never seen this place!
I don't know if the tears were intentionally placed there, or if our washington weather has made the tear streaked cheeks. He is really beautiful, he seems so sad and thoughtful. So next to the playground he sits.
This was the theme this week in The Photo Safari Society , a look under your bed. I will not photograph this. Since I was a kid I have believed if it ends up under the bed, it is as good as gone. I have not cleaned under my bed for quite some time. There are dust bunnies down there that scare the cats. Water bottles dropped in the middle of the night, hair bands (not like poison, but like goodie rubber bands) I don't know what else is down there. So I found something on the side of the railroad tracks that I say qualifies. It is a bed (not mine). I took my walk along the railroad tracks today and I saw something I have passed 50 times and never noticed. A patch in a very old fence, someone used a telephone pole, railroad spikes as nails, leather straps, and an old bed frame. So, I am posting the bed frame, it is rusty and I am sure it had some kind of monster lurking under it at one point.
