The way she can write people, she has SO much talent! She came to my house to match poems and photos. She brought with her a folder of 50. 50!!!! I am SO honored that she choose my photos to pair her intense and personal poems with. If you have not been to her site, you should! We worked a lot, I have a list of 22 subjects to photograph. Ranging from Elves to Bear's teeth. Tough list, but my mind is working. We then went to lunch at my new favorite restaurant, the Organic Comfort Food Cafe. YUM! Grilled mozzarella and tomato sandwich with pesto, cream of mushroom soup with big chunks of mushroom in it, grilled cheese, carrot sticks, cookies, salad, etc. DELISH!
Then back to my house to work, and finish up. We plan next time to go to the Zoo, I love the zoo.
After Lucy left husband and I decided to not let such a lovely warm sunny evening pass us by. We rode our bikes down by the river. It was nice except that the cottonwood trees are seeding right now and by the time we were done my eyes were red as peeled tomatoes and burned like they were on fire. Husband asked me to leave the camera at home, I tend to take a long time to travel when I have it around my neck. I regretted not bringing it. I saw a small snake sunning itself on a rock, the cottonwood seeds in the air made a certain magical glow in the yellow light of the setting sun. It looked like it snowed along the path because the seeds were coming out so thick.
It was a nice day. ;-)
