I went to a local park last weekend and of course uploaded quite a few photos onto flickr. Well, I had not checked bach with flickr until last night. I realized I had a flickrmail from NPR. NPR? National Public Radio? What did they want with me? They have a new thing called Weekend America and really liked my photos and wanted to interview me along with other people they really enjoyed pictures from. This was dated on Tuesday, and I got it on Friday. Too late. But it is nice to think they really liked my pictures from last weekend! That is Awesome!
it has been really hard to type and to take pictures wit the brace thing on my wrist. I have not been commenting much, but I have been reading. : )
The rain stopped today, I went out and took a couple pictures. I should have taken a walk, but am feeling so tired today. Maybe it was my deaf cat screaming at the top of his lungs at 2am, just to let us know his food dish was empty, then at 4am to let us know the fire had burned out, then at 5 to remind us his food is empty, and again at 5:45. I love that cat but he has no idea how alarming his meow is at 2am. Haha!
Here are a few pictures I took at the local park. When I was a kid we used to feed the ducks our stale bread here. Now we are not allowed, the ducks poop too much. This is a pond that has formed from a creek that feeds a local river. Taking all of the melted snow and rain from Mt. Rainier into the ocean. When I was a teen, my friend and I would park her car, Zoomie, in the parking lot, open the doors and blast Tori Amos or the Beatles out of her stock stereo and dance in the damp grass under the sparkling stars. This was the one time I felt SO free. We would also see who was hooking up this weekend, there was always another car kind of fogged up and rockin'. Many an embarrassed classmate would wave nervously at us as they left. Haha! Good Times!
Here are a couple more photos. The creepy doll, she looks so sweet until the light from the flash hits her, she looks so evil! Today, I am going to
1. make the last batch of soap, mint
2. put laundry piles where they need to be
3. take some photos around the house, the weather is really windy and wet today.
So to all my friends that read this, the first photo is for you! A gift from the sidewalk, hugs and kisses, XO!

I woke up this morning knowing I must make a batch of soap, take a shower, and pick up the sunday paper somewhere, my grandmothers obituary is printed there today. I looked out the window, and it was snowing. Tiny icy little flakes. I sat and watched it for a while, then woke up husband and showed him. I got layered up in clothes and went out with my camera.
I wanted to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all of the kind words and support. Trust me, they have made a HUGE difference to me. Thank you, I send you ALL hugs.
