Hahah! I was not sure I was going to find something nice to say to myself. The truth is that I feel like I have come into a period in my life where I learn SO much about myself and where I sit in the world. I remember the last time I learned this much about myself was when I moved out on my own for the first time. I am in that period again, and I love it this time. I am opening myself up for all the lessons and getting to know who I am at age 35. I am quite a bit different than I was at age 19 when I moved out on my own. Thank goodness for that. I was an annoying know it all then, now I am ...probably an annoying know it all.
I am SO sore from Yoga last night, she really knows how to work us without letting us on to realize we are working out, I think my yoga instructor might just have an evil streak in her.....my shoulders and neck are Killing Me!!! She was teaching a pose and we held a block with our knee into the wall and my back leg was shaking! Begging for mercy!!!! Her calm soft lovely voice describing waterfalls and hearts opening up to heaven, My mind loves that but my body knows it is being tricked! Haha! by the end of the workout my body was shivering like a noodle!!! I will continue, I need some serious strength training. I need to work on stretching my hamstrings so that I can sit up straight without rounding it to be able to, and possibly begin to fold forward at some point.
I went back to the concrete art center yesterday to try a couple different angles I wished I had tried before. Talked to the owner and gave him a card with one of the images on the front I shot last week. He is interested in using my images on the web site in exchange for being able to shoot his statues. I will get my name and web
address on the site. I am excited about this. ;-) It is not for reals money, but it gets my name out there and something on some sort of a resume if I should have one of those one day.
So on with my day I guess, I am so sleepy. I need more coffee.......................YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thirteen things I can do today to lift my mood:
1. drink bunches of delicious Coffee! We buy from a place online, they roast the beans in my state's capitol and the name of the coffee delights me. Dancing Goats coffee A local artist created the design for the Coffee, and it is CUTE! and Man, I just saw some of the new Merch from the artist and I am going to have to check the bank account to see if there is enough for something special.
2. draw beautiful things on my sidewalk in chalk this afternoon.
3. play with my new 70-300 lens that has been intimidating me but begging for a photo walk around town.
4. look at photos on flickr to get more inspiration
5. make cookies
6. make a list of all the words that make me giggle, like
*rhubarb
*pookie
*fanny
7. go to see the new movie "Burn after reading" tonight
8. make a pot of iced tea
9. make faces at small children when their parents are not looking, not mean ones, just funny ones
10. bathe in colors today, wear a very loud and bright outfit today (if I have any clean clothes)
11. color with crayons today
12. play solitaire with real cards so that I can cheat if I want to. It does feel good to win.
13. enjoy the sunshine that is still blessing my pacific northwest home. It is a rare thing to have such wonderful weather this time of year. It is nice, I feel it is making up for a rainy August and June.

The last few days it has been So Toasty here in the Pacific Northwest, Nice, but kind of sweaty. Well, woke up and there are clouds covering the sky today. I like that too, it will most likely burn off this afternoon, but that gives me plenty of time to air out my really warm home. So I will post very colorful photos today along with my list.
Loathes:
1. my face is SO broken out right now, I have been SO stressed out and been throwing all sorts of garbage down my throat and it is that time.
2. the enormous piles of laundry, not even dirty, clean ones that I put off and put off folding and hanging and putting away, I know I created this problem, but It is on my list
3. We got something very strange in the mail yesterday, seems like someone is applying for a loan to buy my house, only thing is, it is not for sale. It was sent to us by accident. Speaking of accident, we were in one about three years ago and have not heard whether that had been settled or anything, it was our fault, and the other person was asking for SO much money and I will say It was not that bad, really. Well, it is the same last name as on the loan for our house. We thought that he was going to try and take our house! We called this morning and that suit was settled last March. Phew!!! Now I need to find out why someone is trying to get a loan for our house.

7. 4th of July is on Friday and Husband gets three day weekend! Yay!
8. My FAVORITE show is back on for the Summer! History Detectives!!! Oh my goodness! The first story made me Cry! A WWII diary of a man has been kept by a family, but it was not their own family, it was another man who served with the family member. They always wondered why the diary just stopped, whatever happened to the man who kept it. So they call in the histpory detectives who found out the answer along with bunches of history about this time period! Turns out Kamikazi pilots had a better rate of survival that the US airmen flying a certain type of plane they called the flying coffin. Also a story about Annie Oakley, the family has a coin that was said to be shot by her, also a book dating from the 1850's about abeing a wife in the Mormon religion (which was a not very nice book)
It is History told through objects, this show is AWESOME!! I love it!
9. I feel more helpful than helpless now. More powerful that powerless. I am finding a fine balance there.

Here are a couple of pictures I took at the farmers market this last weekend. We bought carrots, and tomatoes, apples, eggplant, blueberries, raspberries, garlic, mixed salad greens, cucumbers, zucchini, all fresh grown in Washington, most of it right in town here. Organically grown without any funny stuff. I am hoping to get into the CSA program at the farm only couple of miles from my house. The waiting list is HUGE.
