I just heard the funniest story on the news. Some guy was robbing a store, and asked that they open the safe. They then told him that they do not have the combination and the manager was not there. So he left his phone number for them to call him when the manager arrived, that's right, so He could rob them again. So the Police called the number and he came to get the contents of the safe waving his gun around so the police shot him in the knee. I just don't understand how he thought this was going to work! Haha!
Another thursday, I can't work my hand very well because of the thumb splint I have to wear for two weeks. I am sure I will get the hang of things soon, it can't be this awkward for two weeks. It just can't. I offer a picture I took a week ago and a couple pictures of my lovely fashion forward black thumb splint. Haha! I bitch about it but it really is not that bad, It could be worse. It itches and I am more clumsy that normal. Oh and it takes forever to type because I mess up so much and have to fix it. I am wondering if i should just post the unedited mistakes, it may be a challenge to read and I have quite a few neighbors who love words so much it may actually be painful to see. Happy Thursday!
There is another bridge coming into town, that was built when I was in the early 80's. Before that, this was the bridge that carried you over the river coming in and out of town. I remember leaning my tiny forehead on the cold glass of the white wood paneled station wagon, looking straight up at the top of the bridge, there used to be lots of birds up there and it was all painted green. It has a lot of in the structure, I was kind of surprised to see the wood support under the bridge. When I was above, the bridge shook and bounced every time a large truck or semi went over. It shook so much that pictures turned out blurry and it made me very nervous. I have loved the shape of this small bridge since I can remember, it is one of the things in my town that I consider MINE. This bridge is mine, it is in some of my earliest memories. I felt free going over the bridge heading into town, and felt the pain when passing the other way on my way out.
