Tuesdays things and I think I will post COLORFUL things today

Comments

Hello!
Oh, I liked looking at these pics! They were all interesting and made me think. (and colorful of course) And I could look at each one and understand (in my own beginner's way) why you took it from the angle you did, what you wanted to show, etc. Neat!
The first roller coaster I ever went on was the "Mighty Mouse" with my older brother. It reminds me of what the "Monster Mouse" looks like.

Have a good day today LOL.
&:o)

Thanks! Let me tell you though, I never think about those kind of things when I am shooting, I move the image around to a place I like it, and shoot it at several angles, sometimes it is the only angle available. ;-) Thanks, It feels strange to be studied. Haha! I went on the monster mouse with my cousins and I got the nastiest bruise on my knee, that is what I feel when I see that ride, haha, knee pain.
yep.....I iz watching u, missy...

I, too, am cooking in the great Pacific Northwest! Getting ready to really cook in the midwest. LOL Colorful posts today. I got my laundry done - it is folded in the clothes basket out in the car. Just don't have the energy to bring it in, and the clothes will never get put away before they are worn. LOL
Haha! That is what I do. I leave it in the basket, haha!
[this is good]
I love the colourful ones....I go through stages where I like different things and I really do find colour appealing at the moment, certain types, really vibrant colours or colours that sit well together, and rainbows of colour too (not rainbows as such)...I like the one with the chair #4 I think it is, I had a chuckle and thought "wow that's one scary looking ride"...actually the chair is more my speed!

Enjoy the long weekend with hubby, it will be nice having him home for 3 days :)

Oooooh! I love roller coasters =) My favorite pic is the last one. What great color contrast!
Haha! Look out! I think that chair spins! And that roller coaster is an oldie! It was originally built in 1935, but burned down and rebuilt in 1970. I rode the 1970's one, when it was still kind of new.
Imagine my husband's surprise when he got up and didn't have any pants to put on to go out and get the basket. hehehe

Sometimes Beauty throws caution to the wind and dances in the street....no hiding her when she's like that !! And aren't I glad !!

I LOVE the new banner !!!

Red and Yellow are awesome. I really like Monster Mouse...it kind of has that treadmill/conveyor belt affect....like something that just won't quit.

That dolly looks a bit sad or maybe a little mad..... : (

LOL yeah it looks like a real thrill ride (the chair)...I'm terrified of anything like that since I had an accident on a ride when I was younger...so the chair really is about my speed! The old coasters look great though, very nostalgic!
That is so weird about someone trying to buy your house!!! Yikes! But your happy list makes me extra happy.
[this is good]
Your pics are awesome but you blog caught me off guard. I have never heard of this TV show you were talking about and it really sounds interesting. could you tell what channel (like abc or spike or a&e) I would love that.
I hate to sound Like a worry wort but I would check somemore on that house business that sounds really fishy to me.
Keep the Smiles!!!

Babe we are so scarily sisters I so love history I would rather watch that program than almost any other or something similar that last photo the one with the yellow daisies I had to look at twice for a min there I thought it was a painting! So love that – that loan thing very scary crossing fingers it all works out – oh and so sweet that your SIL sent you a card! Ok at soul sucking work wish me luck Seeya Hugya *G*

I love the colorful shots, especially Coaster Thrill Ride.
Hahaha!!!! How did you like that Lightening show last night?
You are right, sometimes beauty does dance in the streets, Even the most oblivious can see her then!
Thank you!!! I have been trying to change my banner once a month, just because it seems like a fun thing to do. Red and Yellow were just so bright and I tried to capture it well, but in real life it was SO gorgeous!!! Monster Mouse gave me the most giant bruise and swelling in my knee when I was a kid, I have not gone on her since.Dolly was so cute, and full of personality. I wonder what her story was. ;-)
You had an accident on one???? Oh NO!!!
I will spin you in the chair, not too fast, I don't think it is bolted down. ;-)
And the price is WAYYYYY under value! By at least $75,00! I have a feeling they typed in the wrong address. I need to call and alert them of the mistake, but for some reason I am slightly scared because in the address window it was our address without a name, I opened the mail, but realized the paper was slightly out of place and the mailing address was just above this and it was supposed to be delivered there. But I was alarmed by the loan papers for my house! I think I broke the law. ;(
If it is a wrong address they need to be VERY careful! I could be some person who knows how to steal identities or something!
OH! And that is really nice album! A bit different form the older one we have. Better I think!
I'm delighted that you are enjoying it! I'm kind of addicted.
It's good that you opened it ... someone could have been trying to scam you, and you wouldn't have find out the mistake otherwise.
The History Detectives is the Best Show EVER!!! I placed a link here, click it and see! The show airs on PBS. So Interesting!
I am calling the loan place today to alert them of the mistake. I could be an identity thief or someone with bad intentions!
Good Luck! Don't let work suck every last bit of your soul, just the evil parts! Haha!
History Detectives is SO awesome! They tell of such obscure American history! Such a great show!
Thanks Red Pen! That roller coaster has been such a landmark of my town, visible from all over. I love it, not ride it, but just love seeing it. ;-)
I played it at least three times while I was baking and putting together shower items on Friday, so good for dancing around my kitchen with flour and mixers! ;D
I just left a message with the mortgage company, telling them the paperwork was sent to me buy mistake and I had some questions. I will call again after 9. Grrr...
I called earlier and got a result, these people own a duplex they are trying to refinance, and the address is the same except that their address has a Place rather than a Street. AH!!! I was hoping it was that! But still alarming that I, a stranger got so much private information. And strange that they have the same last name as the people who we got in a car accident with who tried to sue the pants off of us a few years back. We got scared

Wow, that's a relief -- I'm so glad to hear it! that is a weird and scary coincidence about the names, though, and scary about the private information.

The storm here has passed, by the way. It's nice and cool now. I enjoyed the thunder, something I miss from back east.

the storm passed here as well, but it took my power with it for a while. Haha!
I was really glad to hear you are following through with checking out that loan deal. Where i live ID theft is a real problem because of all the illegals trying to get set up with jobs and such. SSN and birth certificates are prime
I feel better knowing too. Takes a load off of my shoulders!
Yeah I was in a fast moving ride, can't remember the name of it, and the safety bar came loose and out I came. I was a kid at the time...scared me half to death but luckily enough I only ended up with some bumps and bruises - been terrified of the things ever since. But I did challenge the fear a few years back and went on one of the scariest ones I could find locally....hahaha felt good to do that BUT never again ;-)
You would NEVER find me challenging that fear! Wow! I am glad you were not seriously hurt! EEEK!
So was I! Very lucky though.
