Sunday Vox Photostroll in Tacoma

I had a great time too! And I love spending most of the day walking around, so no complaints here. I love looking at how we all saw things slightly differently.
Me Too! I see stuff on you flickr that I totally missed or was not able to capture the way I wanted to. I hope to do it again, I feel very bad for seating you in my cat fur covered chair, I had no idea you were allergic. Haha! I love walking slow, just looking at everything, looking up and down. Very nice, very relaxing. Thanks SO much for coming down!
[this is good]
I quick checked your flickr, I can't believe you're up to 15,000 pictures since March...you are one very amazing lady...even if you do like bright orange tennis shoes!

you know it keeps coming back.

I am chief laundress for five and I hate how even if I wash all day, that basket is full that night. I hate how I can see washing on the line, washing in the bathrooms and washing waiting to be folded in the lounge room.

theres no escape.

AS much as I loved your other individual shots to date - the flowers and bugs, and strange pieces of equipment etc-- this GROUP is my favorite- -as a group. It's cohesive; the subjects and colors and points of view etc all hang together as a unit, to me. It's marvelous!

They all ask questions.
you are kidding! 15,000? Haha! The tennis shoes matched my shirt! ;-)
you always know how to bring one down don't you Cat.....
Hahah! I just hope I can stay on top of it, not let it get as bad
OOooh! Thank you! I really tried to keep a general theme in this group. I forget to do this and just post randomness, but that is what is in my head, randomness. Haha! Thank You SO much RobbbieDobbbie!
oh no - I hope not, I don't want to be known as a bringer downer!! I'm an optimist.
[these are great LL] especially for me the door and chair images
[this is good]

I had such a fun day and love seeing your photos from it. (I'm taking forever to upload mine -- hopefully before I leave town at the end of the week they'll at least be on Flickr.) You have such a great eye for the small and wonderful things; I especially love your photos of the details.

It's funny-- I think all four of us are perhaps at least a bit on the shy side in some way. I know I was nervous meeting everybody individually in the beginning, but I was the only one who knew everyone beforehand, so for me it was getting together with three people I already really liked, and thus I didn't feel the anxiety this time. I'm sorry about your tummy, and hope it didn't diminish the strolling fun too much.

are we the lucky out of towners?? beautiful pics! i like the group shot too, too cute.

It sounds like you, Homebody, and Kitty had a wonderful day.

I know that feeling of wanting to linger and take my time. I need time in my own head to feel whole....time to think and be creative....it's a sanity saver for me.

3. You burned your grilled cheese sammich....but you still ate it... LOLLOLOLOL !!! Too, too funny !!

[this is good]
Love the shots composed against the sky.

I'm jealous I wanna go on a vox photo walk too but I’m bloody miles away if I start walking now I may see you in about time for xmas! LoL cool photos & I love the orange shoes I have turquoise & hot pink! Just to make me smile when I look down!

I’m having a fight with the laundry monster at the moment myself so well done!

As always beautiful shots...must go check out the rest in Flickr
Hahah! Then just go with me on this, I have Conquered the Laundry Monster! YAY!!!
Thank you Karlos! I secretly wanted to steal that chair, it is such a gorgeous color!
Thanks Homebody! I am not real good at the larger subjects, because I get too close, but when I get too close I see more little things that were once a part of the big picture, but now are the big picture on their own.
I really enjoyed the walk about, the tummy settled the more walking we did, that strong breeze was very refreshing to me as well. We were all a little shy, but it was so much fun! It was very nice for me, I have never had a bunch of girls to hang out with that were not related to me. ;-)
Thanks Love! Well, is that offer still open for Saturday night? (the 9th)
Aunt is getting married that night and if your offer to crash there is still open... ;-)
Haha, yup, I ate it burned. It was not too bad, still tasted all burney though

We had a FAB time, if I can speak for them. Haha!
Thank you! The sky was definitely the star of the day, it was supposed to be overcast and possibly rainy. As soon as we pulled up downtown the clouds parted and the sun shined. It was lovely!
Gotta love the bright tennies! I have a few pairs now. Get going girl! I will expect you in December! Hahaha!
You go get your laundry monster, You Can Do It!
[this is good]
I love ALL of these!
[this is good]
Oh these are fantastic!!!!!!! I just got a flickr account so I am looking forward to seeing yours there toooo! I never get tired of your photos! Great eye and great shots and great fun! YAY!
Oooh, make me a contact on flickr too, so I can see you lovely views too!
of course love, can't wait! we can chill a bit this time, yeah!
Yeah, 15 grand, check your shutter release counter...and I love the style you've created to hold Ruby. You hold her like an extension of yourself and with respect. I've seen way too many pro's and wanna be's put a death grip of ham handled macho-ism on their camera like a grease monkey making love to his favorite wrench. Its refreshing, Lavender. :-)
I try to give Ruby the respect she deserves, she is like a third eye, and part of my brain, recording images I see. She really is an extension of myself. Thank you! I don't see where to see how many shutter clicks I have made...... hmmmm
Go to your Flickr. Select a picture. It should go to a single image, and on the right will be information asking you for tags or add a tag. Now scroll down to you see the type of camera. Underneath will be (in blue letters) 'more properties'. This is where the EXIF information is located. Scroll down about 3/4 of the way down the list and you should see Total Number of Shutter Releases for Camera: 6032

and you'll be amazed! {its also how i've been keeping tabs on how you do what you've been doing}

You could also do the pandora thing, but.....

If you have any problems...go to my flickr and you can see how I copyright my pictures. I put my name within the EXIF file. Select a picture, go to the name of the camera, and underneath is 'more properties'. Bingo. All the settings...hope this helps.

Okay to post two comments?

Just a quick note then...When I purchased my camera from the pawn shop April 15,I made note (also part of the whole buying decision) of how much the camera was used. I discovered the camera had only one thousand clicks to its history. Used, yes, but then again the total usage was only a memory cards worth of use. Four months later, around July 15, I rechecked the counter, and the camera now has 6000 clicks on it. So, I've taken about 5000 pictures in four months.

Which of course sounds like a lot....but its nothing compared to you, your drive, your passion. You're amazing Lavender!

Third time...still okay?

I said pandora, sorry its Opanda's EXIF Viewer , which isn't a bad way to go...but you might remember that a lot of people strip off the data in post processing even though they are unaware of it.

okay, I think that's it....hope all this helps :-)

VERY helpful! Thank You! I am off to check it all out now! THANK YOU!!!! and 3 comments is Fine! No worries!
Holy Crap! I can't believe I have taken that many photos!!!!! I delete a LOT too though, wow....
