Great lighting in the second bunch! You're doing great! :)
Thanks SO much! I am getting there!
I can see the family resemblence. Sis is a good model. Once again, I love your photos.
the good ones are good..she's very pretty...and so is the other girl...

I kinda like the 3rd bad overexposed one... it's kinda dreamy looking.

The goods are great!

One of the strong points I've been seeing is that you're willing to get right up in your model's face. Getting close to the subject makes some photographers uncomfortable.

Thank You Very Much Patricia!
Thanks! Yes, this is my husbands sister and the other is her daughter. The are really beautiful people!
Thank You, Haha! We call that one the Floating head picture. I learned when the background is light, I should shorten the shutter speed.
Well, the are family. So we will see when I do someone who I have not known for the last 14 years. Haha! Thanks! I really like the up close shots.
The 'GOOD' is excellent! And then 'BAD' is not so bad..but improving.

You're doing fine...keep spinning those wheels!
I have no advice for you because you already know much more than I do --- I just wanted to tell you that I saw the pics yesterday but didn't comment, and now these --- I really really like the pics you take, LOL. Even the over-exposed ones. They do have a kind of dreamy look to them. --- You're doing good!
&:o)
Thanks Pat, I do feel like I am getting a better understanding of everything.
Haha! Thanks! I have been ignoring the smell of smoke, I just keep the wheels spinning!
Thanks SO much for all of our kind words. Even when you don't know technical things, I appreciate what images people like and why, just for the aesthetic purposes!
I really enjoy looking at your photos. I love to take pictures too....kind of like the same stuff as you, actually. My stepdaughter is really into photography also and someday we want to turn an upstairs room into a photo/art/music room. But, anyway.....you are good.....and the washed out pictures are really good poses even if they are kinda light. I like her sheepish little grin! :) Keep up the great work.
Thanks Joyce! I would love to have a room for this stuff! Good Luck with that!

Sorry babe no real advice as I’m not good enough myself to tell you exactly how but I’ve got to agree with some of the others the ones your referring to as bad ( I know not what you were aiming for!) are great if you can remember what you did wrong you should remember they are worth it! Thanks for doing this I’m also learning as I go I’m hoping to get myself a SLR for my 40th in 4 years time by which time I will have paid off my student loans! So I’m saving all these tips! LoL Seeya hugya *G*

well, the room is a dream....right now it is still a bedroom. ;)

very very good! I'm so happy for you!!!!
I hope you get that slr sooner! It is a lot of fun. I appreciate all the comments about what you like etc. Those are very helpful too! Thanks So much!
Mine is a room full of crap (not literal crap, that would be gross)
I can see where you niece got so beautiful !!! Great photos !!
Right? They do not see it. Haha! Thanks!
I like the "good" ones, but I also like the first 3, I like them because they are overexposed; which makes the subject look ethereal
Oh she will love to hear that! Haha! Thanks!
[this is good]
But I like the floating head! :P
There is a very clear family resemblence! And she's got the same pretty eyes you've got. I'd pay a fortune for eyes that colour!! The photos are great, I especially like the first one in the 'good' trio, you've caught a mischevious look from her, it's lovely. You're very lucky, you've got a real talent for photography.

I really like them, the good and the 'bad' ones. :)
Haha! She did too, it is on her myspace page.
Thanks! My husband and his sisters all have his mothers blue eyes, They are Stunning! Funny, I was telling her to give me mischievous, she did not think she was Haha!
Thanks Snugglemuffin! She liked a couple of the "bad" as well. They are better than her daughters bad ones the post before, so I feel better about it!
