This is what I was hoping to find. I wanted to feel light as a feather to bounce along dry hot sidewalks to find treasures along the railroad tracks to find shapes and lines and color to breathe in deep to let my eyes dance and hoping my body would follow
I think I am feeling stronger, still heavy inside, but I feel as though it will not get worse with current life situations. I have been getting out more, that always helps even though it is like pulling teeth to get out most days. Thank You Darling ;-)
Thank you RM! That dress is one of my fave church sale finds, I think it was only a $1, but it has all these butterflies all over it, and the cut of the dress is nice as well. AND It fits me again! ;D Every time I go out into my town, I find something I have never noticed before, I have walked into that bakery hundreds of times in my lifetime, and have never noticed the latch on the red wall. Love that!
Try not to think about how you "feel" but do things that make you feel good...and at the same time when you do think about what you're thinking about....think about things that make you happy and "feel" warm and wonderful... You'd be surprized how much it helps....especially if you begin the exercise when you're just starting to feel bad. This has helped to keep me from going into the ditch a LOT of times.
I have been working on processing these feelings and letting them go. It is a painful road but the further I get down the road the lighter I feel. A lot of my painful memories as a child are remembered without a tear, without and sharp pains in my chest now. I have begun the forgive and move on process. Only because I am not working a real job right now. I have the time to dissect and find the roots of current problems in things from the past, then the problems I am dealing with now don't seem so big because what I felt was so tied into how I felt as a scared powerless child, once that is identified I can let it go. Lighter Me! It is a really hard process with lots of bumps, but I feel SO much better than I did 2 years ago. Right now with the niece, it is feeling so much bigger than it really is because her mother eerily mirrors my own. So I am trying to clean out that "room" in my head. It is hard, but after I let go of it, I will have a clean "room" to fill with joyful things
I have been up an down so many of those hills and mountains myself and know all to well how a current situation can cause us to "connect" to similar childhood experiences and circumstances. You seem to have so much figured out and know you're heading in the right direction and to a good place.....certainly a personal expression of hope.....and an inspiration to others as well !!! Good for you !!!
absolutely not! Just like food, the real stuff is the bestest! No additives or artificial flavors, or dramatically changed sugars and fats, the best stuff is the least processed
