I know i go off on tangents so forgive me for this Lady L but can you explain this. I have been invaded by these creatures lately and I welcome them but there's been some really strange species around, nasty looking lady birds and they all seem to appear, hang around for a few days and then die ! Black ones and brown ones with loads of markings on them, not the usual 3, 4 or 5 on each wing. Really odd in my neck of the wood.
I cannot say I know much about bugs, so I cannot help you. I am sorry. I have never seen anything like you describe either. But I have heard that if one lands on you it is Good Luck! Maybe Luck is on your side.
